This brand of superior quality, full bodied cigars was founded by Ramon Allones in 1837. Both the box and the cigar bear the coat of arms of the Spanish Royal Family. Prior to nationalisation, the brand was owned by Cifuentes, Pego y Cia., also the owners of Partagas.

Especially Selected
This robusto from Ramon Allones is, along with the Cohiba and the Partagas, a member of the most select trio of this format. It has neither the strength not the hardness of the Cohiba, but it does have a rare and special charm that gives it genuine personality. The wrapper colo has that brown tone that corresponds to the restful and generous qualities of its blend.
